The Senior Technical Application candidate will work closely with clients in various industries and communicate the voice of the customers to product development team. He/she should have excellent skill in writing concise and informative application notes that align with higher level product positioning and marketing. The candidate will work very closely with sales and marketing director and sales managers.
Job Responsibilities
* Be in-house hands-on technical resource
* Test customer samples for demonstrations and prospect evaluation
* Develop ASTM or ISO methods
* Develop high impact applications
* Write application notes & white papers
* Present at conferences and to various external constituents
* Work closely with worldwide sales, marketing, and product development teams.
* Conduct user trainings, seminars and workshops
* Prepare detailed analysis reports for customers
* Act as technical liaison to the sales team & international distributors
* Assist in training and technical support to customers and the sales team
* Research, collect, and report information on the ability and capacity of our company's products
and competing equipment
* Provide inputs for the design and development of equipment and systems and redesign of existing
systems to fulfill the needs of customers
Requirements:
* Advanced degree in life science, biochemistry, or engineering with emphasis on rheometry/ viscometry.
MS or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
* 2-5 years of post-graduate industry experiences preferred
* Excellent experimentalist with experiences and knowledge in various industry applications
* Have experience with rheology/bio-rheology and an understanding of microfluidics would be plus
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently convey technical
information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
* Possess sound analytical and problem solving skills
* Being a flexible team player with strong relationship building skills
* Be adaptable to fast paced and high growth environment
* Take independent initiative to achieve agreed objectives
* Have an awareness of their commercial impact upon the business
* Some travel is expected
* A second language would be desirable
